Proskater86 vAlpha (12'99) by Ben Weber; 1.7kB

Download (5kB) | Comments (1)

A skate-game much like Bored Generation. Although this game's an alpha release and thus incomplete, I doubt a game based on this can be any good. The graphics couldn't be worse, controls are slow, collision detection sucks... Don't download it.

Punchout v.41b demo (4'00) Ion by Harper Maddox; 12.4kB

Download (9kB) | Comments (4)

Finally a fighting game for your TI! Looks nice, but this demo just has one enemy (and is really easy!) so you'll probably play it just once or twice. It's also very large. hi

Putz v0.90 (10'99) by John Kempen; 6.5kB + levels (2.5kB)

Download (17kB) | Comments (1)

No, this was not written in TI-Basic, although it sure looks that way. The only difference is that it's a bit faster. But the controls are bad, and it's huge (almost 10kb with help files deleted!) The game itself is pretty basic as well (get all phis without getting cought by the random moving Xes). hi pause

QuadroBall v1.0 (5'00) Ion, Ion86 by Sean Reed; 1.8kB

Get your arrow to the other side of the screen and back again, without getting hit by the balls moving at random speeds. Not a bad game, but i got tired of it after playing a few times. hi pause

Race v1.0 (3'98) Usgard, YAS by David Dorothy; 0.7kB

Another basic -> asm port. The result: the game runs alot faster, but the graphics still stink. Controls are too slow and score ain't saved. There are better race games outthere.

Race 2000 (8'00) Ion by Bryant Lee; 1.8kB

Download (1kB) | Comments (2)

Just give it a cool name like Race 2000 and hundreds of downloads are guaranteed. This game is alot like ZKart-3D, and it also plays alright, the graphics however ain't that good. Looks like Glasscars, but it ain't 3-D. No hiscore saved. I'm not impressed.

Racer-X v1.0ß (9'98) by Bryan Thomas; 4.9kB

Download (3kB) | Comments (1)

The best thing of this game is the title-screen. In the game you should race around a track. This isn't quite possible, because the car moves and turns too fast, and there's no collision detection (can move right through walls). There's no score nor end. It could become a cool game (Megacar), but this is nothing. pause

Racin' v0.7b (4'98) Usgard, YAS by Patrick McLaughlin; 4.4kB

Download (10kB) | Comments (1)

You're racin' a short track of four screens (no scrolling, the screen changes when you're at the edge.) Going off the track slows down, and there's a lot of objects on the track which stops your car when you hit them. Loses several points for being so short, and movement is too innatural (fast turning and accelleration; doesn't feel like a racing game...) Still fun to play a few times. pause

Raptor v1.2 (8'98) CrASH, YAS by Bob the Cat; 4.3kB

Download (4kB) | Comments (1)

A shmup not quite like the original Raptor. Just enemies coming down way too fast. Your gun is stupid, and your ship moves too slowly. If you like real fast action games, try it; but I didn't like it.

Rascall v0.9 (1'98) by Matthew Shepcar; 4.7kB

Download (13kB) | Comments (2)

Shell with password protection, memory locking (can cause crashes in some programs), 4 renamable groups, APD, contrast, descriptions, hiding, and TI-85 emulation. Little large.

Raycasting Engine vWIP Demo #7 (8'01) by Aaron Curtis; 10.4kB + levels (2.0kB)

Download (14kB) | Comments (1)

Aaron's Raycasting Engine still under construction (it's likely to crash instantly and blow up your house or something.) But actually it's an ubercool RPG!! If you thought the FOV (field of view) in Joltima was leet, check this. Also has a fast mode if you think all this prettyness is too slow. Either way, a beautiful game with greyscales and good graphics.
The game itself contains several screens with objects, enemies (just one kind so far..), doors, switches, chests with items in it. These items can be herbs, keys, or new armor and weapons. And this stuff can have special effects, for example a sword of murder doing extra damage. Your character has your selected attributes (like strength for carrying stuff and damage, dexterity for hitting, etc.) like a real RPG. This game just has so much, but it's still unfinished. Meaning, it isn't _that_ big. So it just needs to get bigger, and also coming up is different enemies, missile weapons and an experience system. Can hardly wait.... pause

Repeat After Me v1.1 (8'00) by Levi Lansing; 3.1kB

Download (15kB) | Comments (1)

Repeat the numbers displayed. You start with one digit, and each level you have to remember one digit more. Great for some mind exercising, and breaking the high scores. Nothing missing (even gots a timer), well done! hi

Repton v0.9ß (10'97) by Matthew Shepcar; 8.7kB

Download (42kB) | Comments (1)

Yet another terrific game by Scabby: the classic repton/diamonds/boulderdash. Your guy has to get some diamonds to get to the next level. The whole game looks great, runs/scrolls smoothly, and uses external levels (each with one hiscore table). It's just too damn large (levels too), otherwise it would be 100% for sure! hi pause

Rock, Paper, Scissors v1.01 (9'00) by InFuZeD; 0.6kB

Download (3kB) | Comments (1)

Of course I downed this game the instant I saw the title. Could I finally play Rock-Paper-Scissors on my calc?? Unfortunately this game ain't as good as the real game. The graphics are barely recognisable (the real hand-symbols are much better.) It misses all the special features: competition, multi-player, hiscore... Someone really should make a good RPS-game (I once played a platform rps, really neat!) pause

R-Type v2.0 (4'00) Ion, Ion86 by Pascal Jansz; 1.0kB

Guide your ship up and down so it doesn't collide with the mines. Three difficulty levels each with seperate hiscore. Collision detection is not yet perfect, and I miss the cool features (all too basic). hi

Running The Halls (6'98) CrASH by Mark May; 0.6kB

Download (5kB) | Comments (1)

Evade the incoming skullthingies. Like Avalanch, just upside down. Can be played at eight different speeds, each with its own hiscore. All good, except the controls are quite irresponsive which doesn't play well. hi pause

Serpent v1.0 (9'00) AShell, SOS by J. Le Pévédic; 0.7kB

Download (2kB) | Comments (1)

You play a nibbles-snake, and must evade the pixels appearing at random for as long as possible, while speed gradually increases. Good idea, bad game: no hiscore, slow/irresponsive controls (awful!) and some pixels appearing right in your path.

Shoot! v0.3 (6'00) Ion by Laurent TU; 1.3kB

Download (10kB) | Comments (1)

A Wak-A-Goomba game, where you must smack the white smileys (by pressing 1-9) but leave the black ones alone. You have less time to hit one each level, making it quite hard. However it does not save hiscores, which is bad.

ShutDown (4'98) by Greg T. Schenzel; 0.0kB

Running this will shut down your calc. Maybe it can be used in a BASIC-program, but who'd do that? Anybody with just a little knowledge of asm could write this (optimized even 25% smaller ;)

Sim Community 2000 v2.21 (8'98) by Kirk Meyer; 9.7kB

Download (41kB) | Comments (2)

SimCity for yer calc! Build your own residential, industrial and commercial zones in the right proportians. Place roads, police, hospital, power plant and stuff. The rules are pretty simple (example place a police for every x citizens). With disasters (optional), arcos and rewards a good (looking too) game. At a certain point the sims will go into space and the game will get pretty boring. pause

Simon v1.06 (11'99) by David Lenhart port Haroon I; 0.7kB

Download (1kB) | Comments (1)

A small version of Simon where you have to remember and repeat the order in which the boxes (left, right, up and down) are selected. When you are make an error or you are too slow you lose. Highest score is remembered, so you'll keep playing it to break it. hi

Slippy ][ v2.0 (1'98) by Martin Hock; 2.8kB + levels (0.4kB)

Download (13kB) | Comments (1)

A puzzle game in which you have kick boxes in order to get all the gems. Note the graphics are smooth and nice enough. 40 levels included which seems nice too, and even a level editor to create your own! Of course the story is the best of all (bonus points for the readme; really!) Much better than I expected. Grade's 80% at least. pause

Slopes v2.0 (11'99) Ion by Ian Graf; 1.5kB + levels (1.5kB)

Download (20kB) | Comments (1)

You are a hardcore skier. Evade objects like rocks and trees, and keep collecting time and life in order to survive. Three levels included (each with seperate hiscore), but also an on-calc level editor! It's just the controls are a little irresponsive at times. hi pause

Snake Killer v2.0 (4'00) Ion by Evan Hoke; 0.8kB

Download (1kB) | Comments (1)

Another welcome change to the classic Nibbles game. You control a real small snake and must let the enemy snake (which is ever-growing) kill himself before he kills you. He'll always come straight towards you so you can easily let him hit his own tail. In further levels however, he can go right through his tail several times, making it more difficult. Could use more features 'n stuff.
