Talen
Languages I speak (at least a little):
- Dutch
-
Natively.
- English
-
Of course.
- Esperanto
-
Lingvo de l' kor'.
- Afrikaans
-
Just included here because it's a fun language. Not that I
actually speak it or anything, but I can usually understand it (better
than some dutch dialects in fact).
- German
-
They tought me this at school, and since it's a little like dutch I
can sometimes even understand it.
- French
-
Thanks to school and vacations to france, I also know some basic
french.
- Latin
-
In retrospect, quite useful to have learned. Not that I'll
actually speak it or anything.
- Russian
-
Привет, как дела?
Not much more than that, but I'm learning ;)
An interesting language which I'll never learn: korean (easiest
script, and I've got over 200GB of StarCraft movies which I'd like to understand
;).
Bearly speakable, but I still know them:
- BASICs
-
MSX-, IBM-, Q-, Power-, and TI-Basic,
in order of learning/usage.
- Pascal
-
Used to do a lot of programming in Borland Pascal 7 for DOS. Great fun
(and I didn't really have anything better). Guess it was the logical step
betweep BASIC and C. Haven't touched it in years.
- Z80
-
Assembly (specifically for the TI-86 calculator). Most
interesting/fun language ever!
- Perl
-
Current language of choice for most things (at least sites and scripts)
- PHP
-
Do a lot of work in PHP (it's my job actually). Overall, I think I just
hate it :P
Also experience with (My|pg)SQL, javascript, some very basic|limited
i386-assembler and C(++).
