1) About this game
   ---------------
This is my first real ASM game other than my numerous ports.
Not very exciting, but fairly enjoyable. This baseball game is based
on a Tiger Electronics handheld game as well as an 83 BASIC game by
Bill Nagel. Hope you enjoy it!

2) Controls
   --------
  key action
  --- ------
 ENTER  =  Start Pitch
 2ND    =  Swings Bat
MORE = Save game and quit
EXIT = Exit (Saves if Season game)

4)Instructions on gameplay
  ------------------------
When you start Baseball '99, you'll be greeted with a cool title
picture drawn by Michael Meaders aka ManjiLump. Then you must choose
one of 3 modes of play. For all three modes, the player can type in
their own name. Opposing team names are selected randomly from a
list of real MLB teams.
The first is HomeRun Derby. It can be played with one or two
players with alternating at bats. HomeRun Derby is almost self
explanatory. You get fifteen outs to hit a home run, and anything
other than a homerun is an out(including would-be singles). See the
controls section for how to play.

Exhibition Mode is your standard baseball game that can also
be played with one or two players on the same calculator. Games are
9 innings long unless after 9, the score is tied. If Player 2 is
leading after 8 1/2 innings, they do not bat in the bottom of the
ninth. Basic baseball rules apply: 4 balls=walk, 3 strikes=out,
3 outs= change turns/inning over, 9 innings= game over.

Season Mode plays identically to Exhibition mode, but with a new
twist. Stats are kept. It can only be played in one player mode.
When you start, be sure to enter a correct name for it will last
you your entire 50 game season. During the season, homerun and run
totals as well as win/loss records will be kept. To prevent
cheating, a season game can not be aborted once started, pressing
CLEAR will merely save the game until you wish to resume.

5)Known Bugs
  ---------
   *NONE*

6)Future Versions (for the 86)
  ---------------
*Optimize further (~5000 bytes is my goal)
*Port to 85 (if people want it, email me!)
   *Release the source
*Fix any bugs that you report

For the 82/83 version(to be released in April):
I will release a sequel, Baseball II. This version will include:
     1)Baserunning
     2)Sound
     3)New pitching and hitting routines
     4)Realistic scoring
5)Better season mode (more stats, standings among other teams,
            playoffs, a cool ending, etc.)
If there's demand I might port the sequel to the 86 as well.
