Characters:
-----------

I probably broke many copyrights and countless
international treaties, but I did produce a good game :)
Until the 'feds come after me, here are the characters.

Barney: The all-time most hated creature on the face
of the earth. He shouldn't be too hard to
beat. Averages 11 to 15 points per game.
            Very weak.

Santa: Better than Barney, but it seems that all of
Mrs. Clause's cookies are getting to him. He
scores between 16 and 22 points per round. He
would score more, but his belly rejects a few
            of his shots.

Mario: Just got back from Super Mario 86 and he's
ready for some butt kicking! He's a lot
better than Barney, as he averages somewhere
between 20 and 24 points per round. Luigi
must have been helping him train during the
            off season.

Rohlin: Mike Tingle's cartoon character (see credits
below). Rohlin puts Larry Bird to shame.
Michael Jordan quit the game because of
Rohlin's mad skills. He averages a whopping
25 to 28 points per round. He's not
impossible to beat, but you had better be
            playing your best game.

Rohlin also stars in his own comic strip,
which you can see on the official Rohlin
            Homepage located at:

Instructions:
-------------

** These instructions are very important **

If you know how the real Three Point Shootout works,
you're ready to go (but still read on). If not, here's
the basic outline to Three Point Shootout:

B A C K G R O U N D :
---------------------
There are 5 racks around the goal, each containing five
balls. Each ball is worth one point, except the last
ball in each rack. That ball is called the "moneyball"
and is worth two points. You shoot a total of 25 times
per round, and the total possible score is 30 points
(six points per rack). In this game, ties go to the
opponent, so you had better be on your "A" Game!

H O W T O S H O O T :
-------------------------
Shooting is very simple. Making a shot isn't so simple.
You will first see a title screen when you start the
game. Press [2nd] and you will see the opening credits.
Press [2nd] again and you will see your first opponent
(The elusive purple dinosaur, Barney!). Finally, press
[2nd] again and you will be on the shooting screen. To
shoot, just press [2nd] and a horizontal line will start
moving across from the top-left corner. Try to stop it
(by pressing [2nd]) in the middle of the rim (the
circle). When you press [2nd], a vertical line will
start moving down. Again, try to stop it in the middle
of the circle. You have shot! The fifth ball on each
rack (the "moneyball") is shown using a filled black
rim. Trust me, it's easier to shoot than it sounds.

H O W T O W I N :
---------------------
After shooting, you will see a screen that shows
graphically if you made the shot or not. In the upper-
left hand corner of the shooting screen, you will see
your score. To win, you have to beat Barney, Mario, and
Rohlin. Their scores are determined (randomly within a
range of numbers) before you make your first shot.
However, their score is never shown until you finish
shooting. All you have to do is score higher than your
opponent to advance to the next round, or to win if you
just played Rohlin!
