Pegs v1.0 (9'00) by Fred Coughlin and Jason Kovacs port Andreas Finne; 2.4kB

Download (5kB) | Comments (2)

A puzzle game not unlike Brix/Vexed. Push two identical blocks onto each other and they disappear. You'll find some exceptions to this (two triangles for example make an unmovable brick). Nice game with save feature. The only thing to be improved is more levels! But seems they're already working on external levels.. pause

Penguins v1.1 (7'97) by Bill Nagel; 5.3kB + levels (1.6kB)

Download (6kB) | Comments (2)

A platform game where you can not kill anything but yourself. I played it several times but I just can't get over the jumping ugly at the beginning. According to the readme the levels start extremely hard (yea I saw) and get easier later on, which doesn't seem right to me. (on-calc level editor available) pause

Penny's Problem v0.8ß (7'99) by Simon Chorley; 3.3kB + levels (1.0kB)

Download (6kB) | Comments (1)

Your guy has to eat all smileys and get to the exit. In some levels you have to get keys, or sneak behind enemies' backs, or walls appear out of nowhere. Graphics are in greyscale (tile-based however). Just 4 (external) levels so gets boring real soon... for now. pause

Phoenix v0.90 (11'00) by Patrick Davidson; 7.9kB

Download (70kB) | Comments (2)

Arrite! This new version has both a hiscore table as well as a shield indicator. It sure is 200x better! Also got three difficulty levels plus three speeds (of which easy+slow is too simple: this option kinda ruins the need to play it alot to beat the game). Could use more levels. hi pause

Pinball (6'99) by Charlie Murff; 1.5kB

ROFL! Press the arrow once and the flipper will go up. Press it agian and it will come down. There is no ball yet. I'm still working on it. No comments :)) pause

Ping-Pong (5'98) by Caymran Cummings; 4.3kB

Pong, complete enough. Human vs. human/AI/wall or AI vs AI demo. Five speeds, five difficulties, and 3-11 lives limit. Still a bit too boring (there are better games). pause 2p

Plain Jump v1.1 (10'97) by Andreas Ess; 3.0kB + levels (0.3kB)

Download (12kB) | Comments (2)

Steer a ball over a three dimensional plane, without falling through the holes (by jumping over them). It would be better if up/down would change the speed (where faster would give more points) instead of just start/stop. Also hi-score should be saved for every level. Nice game though. hi pause

Poke v1.0 (2'98) by Ahmed El-Helw; 2.1kB

Download (11kB) | Comments (1)

Like in his Archery game, you have to shoot at a moving target at the top. In Poke however, there are other moving objects which you may not hit. Too bad the hiscore feature didn't work, because otherwise it's a good game. pause

Proskater86 vAlpha (12'99) by Ben Weber; 1.7kB

Download (5kB) | Comments (1)

A skate-game much like Bored Generation. Although this game's an alpha release and thus incomplete, I doubt a game based on this can be any good. The graphics couldn't be worse, controls are slow, collision detection sucks... Don't download it.

20%

Putz v0.90 (10'99) by John Kempen; 6.5kB + levels (2.5kB)

Download (17kB) | Comments (1)

No, this was not written in TI-Basic, although it sure looks that way. The only difference is that it's a bit faster. But the controls are bad, and it's huge (almost 10kb with help files deleted!) The game itself is pretty basic as well (get all phis without getting cought by the random moving Xes). hi pause

50%

Racer-X v1.0ß (9'98) by Bryan Thomas; 4.9kB

Download (3kB) | Comments (1)

The best thing of this game is the title-screen. In the game you should race around a track. This isn't quite possible, because the car moves and turns too fast, and there's no collision detection (can move right through walls). There's no score nor end. It could become a cool game (Megacar), but this is nothing. pause

Raycasting Engine vWIP Demo #7 (8'01) by Aaron Curtis; 10.4kB + levels (2.0kB)

Download (14kB) | Comments (1)

Aaron's Raycasting Engine still under construction (it's likely to crash instantly and blow up your house or something.) But actually it's an ubercool RPG!! If you thought the FOV (field of view) in Joltima was leet, check this. Also has a fast mode if you think all this prettyness is too slow. Either way, a beautiful game with greyscales and good graphics.
The game itself contains several screens with objects, enemies (just one kind so far..), doors, switches, chests with items in it. These items can be herbs, keys, or new armor and weapons. And this stuff can have special effects, for example a sword of murder doing extra damage. Your character has your selected attributes (like strength for carrying stuff and damage, dexterity for hitting, etc.) like a real RPG. This game just has so much, but it's still unfinished. Meaning, it isn't _that_ big. So it just needs to get bigger, and also coming up is different enemies, missile weapons and an experience system. Can hardly wait.... pause

Repeat After Me v1.1 (8'00) by Levi Lansing; 3.1kB

Download (15kB) | Comments (1)

Repeat the numbers displayed. You start with one digit, and each level you have to remember one digit more. Great for some mind exercising, and breaking the high scores. Nothing missing (even gots a timer), well done! hi

Repton v0.9ß (10'97) by Matthew Shepcar; 8.7kB

Download (42kB) | Comments (1)

Yet another terrific game by Scabby: the classic repton/diamonds/boulderdash. Your guy has to get some diamonds to get to the next level. The whole game looks great, runs/scrolls smoothly, and uses external levels (each with one hiscore table). It's just too damn large (levels too), otherwise it would be 100% for sure! hi pause

Rock, Paper, Scissors v1.01 (9'00) by InFuZeD; 0.6kB

Download (3kB) | Comments (1)

Of course I downed this game the instant I saw the title. Could I finally play Rock-Paper-Scissors on my calc?? Unfortunately this game ain't as good as the real game. The graphics are barely recognisable (the real hand-symbols are much better.) It misses all the special features: competition, multi-player, hiscore... Someone really should make a good RPS-game (I once played a platform rps, really neat!) pause

Sim Community 2000 v2.21 (8'98) by Kirk Meyer; 9.7kB

Download (41kB) | Comments (2)

SimCity for yer calc! Build your own residential, industrial and commercial zones in the right proportians. Place roads, police, hospital, power plant and stuff. The rules are pretty simple (example place a police for every x citizens). With disasters (optional), arcos and rewards a good (looking too) game. At a certain point the sims will go into space and the game will get pretty boring. pause

Simon v1.06 (11'99) by David Lenhart port Haroon I; 0.7kB

Download (1kB) | Comments (1)

A small version of Simon where you have to remember and repeat the order in which the boxes (left, right, up and down) are selected. When you are make an error or you are too slow you lose. Highest score is remembered, so you'll keep playing it to break it. hi

Slippy ][ v2.0 (1'98) by Martin Hock; 2.8kB + levels (0.4kB)

Download (13kB) | Comments (1)

A puzzle game in which you have kick boxes in order to get all the gems. Note the graphics are smooth and nice enough. 40 levels included which seems nice too, and even a level editor to create your own! Of course the story is the best of all (bonus points for the readme; really!) Much better than I expected. Grade's 80% at least. pause

Sokoban v1.0 (10'97) by Andrew von Dollen; 5.3kB

Download (4kB) | Comments (2)

A great (classic) puzzle game in which you have to move all boxes onto a dot. Contains 50 levels! Too bad the game is not saved (select levels with +/-). Also controls seem a bit slow and no ending. Good game though. pause

Solytare v2.1 (11'97) by Michael Pearce; 2.1kB

Download (15kB) | Comments (5)

The most popular PC-game - god (yeah that's Bill) knows why. Think it'll load and run faster than the Windows version (unless you have Windows86 installed.) Controls ain't perfect, but they work. The game is ok, although I like Freecell better :P pause

Space Invaders v1.0 (6'98) by David Phillips; 1.5kB

Download (9kB) | Comments (1)

Man, this is a terrible version! It's slow and bad sprite routine (ex. you can't see enemy bullets coming when you're shooting yourself). Besides that, all levels are the same, no different enemies, no bosses, no hiscore, nothing! pause

SpaceWar 2183 (3'00) by Kirk Meyer; 1.5kB

Download (7kB) | Comments (1)

A two-player game in which each player flies a ship and has to destroy the other. Keys are a bit weird but make sense for a multiplayer game (customizable would be better). Although not much special things it can be fun. Misses 0G like in real space. BTW looks a lot like my own PC-game Noname.

Speed Racer v1 (4'00) by Spencer Brady; 6.8kB + levels (20.0kB)

Download (16kB) | Comments (2)

A cool racing game with bitmap levels. The advantage is the levels can be real pretty, but this also means the levels are short and huge. Nice game but I don't think you'll wanna keep this on your calc. pause

Sqrxz v1.0 (7'98) by Jimmy Mårdell; 7.2kB + levels (1.6kB)

Download (100kB) | Comments (3)

Port of the great sidescrolling platform game for Usgard. Like mario, but it's more like a puzzle. Score doesn't matter, just finish the levels. Looks great. With level editor (many levels available)! No comments, perfect! pause

Stalactites (12'99) by Matt da cracker; 2.7kB

Download (9kB) | Comments (1)

Use your pad to push up the stalactites, while evading the bouncy balls. Funny, but not extremely challenging. Why the limit of max. 6 balls? Also entering your name sucks. Should be improved. hi pause

Star Chaser v1.03 (9'98) by Sean Hilty; 5.1kB

Download (5kB) | Comments (1)

You have to guide your ship to the right edge of the screen without hitting the asteroids, while it is bouncing up and down. Along the way you can pick up stars for extra points, but when the time runs out you die. Nice, but abit boring: all levels are the same and nothing special happens. Quite large, too. hi pause

StuntCopter vy2k (1'00) by Justin TerAvest; 0.9kB

Download (5kB) | Comments (2)

Whooohooo! This game rules all! You control a heli and you can drop a guy from it by pressing 2nd. Try not to let him hit the moving haycart so the game will be over sooner. You can't see whether he did or didn't, so it's also kind of a gambling game :-) Amazing...

20%

Subhunt v1.3 (9'99) by Sam Heald; 2.2kB

Download (24kB) | Comments (1)

Drop depth charges to destroy the submarines coming by. The submarines move at different speeds and heights and they fire at will (you can take three hits). The first levels are too easy (don't have to do anything but fire), but from level eight the enemies get a new weapon which you will have to evade. Good port (uses full screen) and small. hi pause

Super Mario v0.95 (12'99) by Ben Mickle; 13.3kB + levels (1.7kB)

Download (12kB) | Comments (2)

Super Mario v0.91 (8'98) by Bill Nagel; 8.2kB + levels (1.6kB)

Another Mario, not as pretty as the Mickle-version. It has more enemies and water, but no moving platforms, fireballs, running, secrets, and some things are hard to see (black enemies on black background). A lot of extra levels available though, 'cause of the on-calc editor. pause

Tetris Attack v1.1 (6'99) by Brandon Sterner; 6.1kB

Download (6kB) | Comments (1)

A puzzle game in which you have to place 3 or more blocks of the same type on one line to make them disappear. There are 60 levels, starting simple, each with a password to continue later. Also has an endless mode which I think goes too fast. hi pause

Three Point Shootout v1.0 (7'98) by Ricky Wallace; 8.0kB

Download (7kB) | Comments (1)

You have to aim something (ball? prolly..) good enough to advance to the next level. Plays a lot like Aim, however you don't play to beat your hiscore, but to beat the enemies. Ie you have to hit a little more each level. Gets pretty old pretty fast. The graphics are lovely, but the program's also a little large (coincidence?) Not a game to be playing for hours. pause

TicTacToe (7'00) by Bradford Wilson; 2.5kB

Download (3kB) | Comments (2)

Just when I thought games couldn't get any worse, I played this. Imagine something bad, and this game has it: It is tictactoe (need I go on? :) Title stuff is like a basic game (no graphics at all, game graphics suck), controls are 1-9 (but you can use any other key as well, exit for example). It's 2-player only, you can put your sign (X or O) on top of an other one, it doesn't detect a line (so it goes on forever since exit doesn't work either), it crashes quite often (besides the fact you can't quit), and all this at the size of 2.6kB! (if you want a good laugh look at the source :P) pause

Oh no!! Another TTT! The only reason I looked at it is because it's different: it's "3D". Well kind-of. It's does seem to work once you know the keys. For one or two players, and more challenging than the classic version. A little large for a ttt-game.. but hey, cool greyscales. pause 2p

The Tower of Hanoi v1.1 (8'00) by Andreas Finne; 1.3kB

Download (7kB) | Comments (1)

The Tower of Hanoi is another well-known puzzle game. The objective is to move all pieces from one pin to another, but you can only place a smaller piece on a larger one. It's fun, but it should save hiscores so you can show you beated a level. pause

The very first ti86-game! Basic break-out with 22 levels, 5 speeds and hiscore save. Misses some exotic effects like falling upgrades, different blocks, etc. Looks more like an 83-game: it's plain and small (and uses clear key to exit). hi pause

Vertigo v0.94 (9'98) by Matthew Shepcar; 5.5kB + levels (1.4kB)

A real 3-D game! As a little ball, you have to roll to the exit without falling down. There's gravity and the ball responds very realistic. Several worlds are included as well as an oncalc level editor! I do think it's a bit hard, but call it challenging (and frustrating). hi pause

Vexed v1.3 (10'97) by Andrew von Dollen; 3.1kB

Download (7kB) | Comments (1)

A nice puzzle game (brix), without objects thingies like teleporters =(. Controls are good, animation, enough levels (59) although too easy (two levels excepted, which seem unsolvable to me). It needs more difficulty (by adding special objects? ;) a save option (you can choose a level with +/-) and halts to stop it from draining your batteries. pause

Whiplash v1.2 (6'99) by Matt Teiken; 3.4kB + levels (0.1kB)

I'd call it ZKart3D with levels. You now try to get a hiscore in one of the five tracks. In some you can accelerate with 2nd, in others speed will be controlled by the track. The levels are better than in ZKart, but somehow it doesn't seem like _that_ much fun. hi
